ATCA Summit
OpenSAF is sponsoring the 7th annual ATCA Summit,
which is taking place on November 1-2 in San Jose, CA. Attendees will
learn about AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA, the emerging standards platforms
for communications in the telecom, military and enterprise markets.

OpenSAF 2011 European Symposium
Following the success of the 2011 OpenSAF Conference and the positive feedback from the community, OpenSAF hosted a one-day symposium
on September 13, 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden. The symposium featured a
variety of sessions led by well-known technologists, architects and
academics in the HA ecosystem. The symposium was attended by users,
developers, engineering managers and academics from various industries
including Telecom and Aerospace and Defense.

2011 OpenSAF Conference, held May 17-18, 2011 in Cambridge, Mass. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was well-attended by a diverse set of companies and featured presentations ranging from an overview of the OpenSAF architecture to case studies highlighting successful real-world deployments.

Annual General Meeting of the OpenSAF Foundation The OpenSAF Foundation Annual General Meeting for 2009 was held in February 2009 at the Emerson facility in Tempe AZ. The meeting is only open to OpenSAF Foundation member companies. In accordance with the OpenSAF Foundation Bylaws the annual meeting is held early in the calendar year. The meeting agenda includes the announcment of newly elected Board Members and Officers and major business matters may be presented. The annual meeting also provides an opportunity for Foundation Members who are not represented on the Board of Directors to discuss any issues with the Board.
